Vantage Cost Analytics LLC ("Vantage," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Vantage platform — government contract discovery, AI proposal drafting, and cost estimating applications — available at vantagecost.co and its subdomains. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our services.
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and, optionally, your name. Authentication is handled by Clerk, Inc. on our behalf.
Project data: When you save cost estimates or projects to the cloud, that data is stored in our database and associated with your account. Your estimate data belongs to you.
Company profile & proposal data: If you use Vantage Gov, we collect the company profile you provide (such as company name, business description, NAICS codes, certifications, service areas, contract size range, and past performance summaries) and any proposal content you draft or save. This data is used to match you to opportunities, compute Fit Scores, generate proposal drafts, and send opportunity alert emails if you opt in.
Consulting submissions: If you email proposals or solicitations to [email protected] for human review, that email and its attachments are forwarded to and stored in our business mailbox and used solely to perform the requested review. We do not use consulting materials to train models or for any other purpose.
Demo workspace: The public demo account is shared — anything entered there is visible to other demo visitors and is deleted on a recurring schedule. Do not enter personal or confidential business information in the demo.
Billing information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card number or payment details — Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy.
Usage data: We collect aggregate, cookieless analytics (page views, visit counts) via Vercel Analytics, which contains no personally identifiable information. We also record basic product events tied to your account (such as signing up, saving a profile, tracking an opportunity, drafting a proposal, or starting checkout) to understand which features are used and to improve the product. We do not sell or share this data.
Error data: If an error occurs in the application, error details (including browser information and stack traces) may be sent to Sentry, Inc. for debugging purposes.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your estimate data for any purpose other than providing the service to you.
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase, Inc. with row-level security enabled — only your account can access your projects. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
Our services are hosted on Vercel's edge network. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
We retain your account and project data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or enforcing agreements).

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Our analytics are privacy-first and cookieless.

Vantage is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the application. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
