Vantage Cost Analytics ("Vantage," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Vantage suite of cost estimating applications available at vantagecost.co and its subdomains. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our services.
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and, optionally, your name. Authentication is handled by Clerk, Inc. on our behalf.
Project data: When you save cost estimates or projects to the cloud, that data is stored in our database and associated with your account. Your estimate data belongs to you.
Billing information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card number or payment details — Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy.
Usage data: We collect anonymized analytics about how users interact with the platform (page views, feature usage) via Vercel Analytics. This data is privacy-first and contains no personally identifiable information.
Error data: If an error occurs in the application, error details (including browser information and stack traces) may be sent to Sentry, Inc. for debugging purposes.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your estimate data for any purpose other than providing the service to you.
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase, Inc. with row-level security enabled — only your account can access your projects. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
Our services are hosted on Vercel's edge network. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
We retain your account and project data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or enforcing agreements).

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Our analytics are privacy-first and cookieless.

Vantage is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the application. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
